London is a capital of the United Kingdom. Most people in London are British. However, London also has many immigrants. These people come from many different countries. They speak many different languages and have different religions and cultures. London was the first city in the world to have an underground railway, known as the ‘Tube’. Some of the most important people from countries all over the world visit the Queen at Buckingham Palace. London has many beautiful places. For example, Hyde Park is the largest open area in central London. London is also known for its many museums. For example, the British Museum is the world’s oldest public museum.
